ایرانی قانون ساز ایک ایسے قانون پر غور کر رہے ہیں جو صحافیوں، محققین اور عام شہریوں کے لیے غیر ملکی میڈیا اور بین الاقوامی گروپوں سے رابطے کو مجرمانہ بنا دے گا۔ انسانی حقوق کے گروپوں کا انتباہ ہے کہ اس قدم کا مقصد حالیہ کریک ڈاؤن اور حکومت مخالف مظاہروں کے بعد ایرانی معاشرے کو باقی دنیا سے الگ تھلگ کرنا ہے۔

ایرانی قانون سازوں نے ایک مجوزہ قانون کی منظوری کی طرف اقدامات شروع کر دیے ہیں جو غیر ملکی میڈیا اور بین الاقوامی گروپوں سے بات کرنے کو قابلِ سزا جرم بنا دے گا۔ مجوزہ قانون کا اطلاق صحافیوں، محققین اور عام شہریوں پر ہوگا، جو ممکنہ طور پر شہری مشغولیت اور بین الاقوامی سامعین کے ساتھ مواصلات کو سیکیورٹی جرم میں بدل سکتا ہے۔
انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں نے مسودہ قانون پر شدید تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے خبردار کیا ہے کہ یہ ایرانی معاشرے کو بیرونی دنیا سے کاٹنے کی کوشش کی نمائندگی کرتا ہے۔ یہ اقدام جنوری میں رونما ہونے والے بڑے پیمانے پر حکومت مخالف مظاہروں سمیت اہم اندرونی واقعات کی کوریج کو بھی شدید طور پر محدود کر سکتا ہے۔
یہ قانون سازانہ پیش رفت ملک میں میڈیا اور اختلافِ رائے کے خلاف وسیع تر کریک ڈاؤن کے درمیان سامنے آئی ہے، جس کی تصدیق حال ہی میں ایک فوٹو صحافی کو 15 سال قید کی سزا سنائے جانے سے ہوتی ہے۔
